As some of you know, I am a cyclist and participate in events across the state. MidSouth is an event in Stillwater that attracts thousands of people from across the country, and internationally. They want to educate people about the areas they are visiting and riding through. In the past, have produced a booklets for participants, but this year they made a short documentary. Check it out below!
I was asked by Jacob Alexander to be one of the experts on video who could talk about cross timbers ecology and Oklahoma biodiversity in general.
I will also be part of a scientist guided bike ride and we will have an educational outreach table during the MidSouth event weekend (March 12-15).
This is a super fun project to be part of and I am excited to combine my love of biking and biodiversity! I plan to continue to merge time on the bike and biodiversity exploration this year. Stay tuned to see how this develops!
