Back in May, I took a quick trip to the Oklahoma Panhandle to see a couple rare species populations, but I also squeezed in a short bike ride from the tri-state marker to Black Mesa State Park. I love riding my bike at a “curious pace” so that I can easily stop to admire the roadside insects, whip out my binoculars to spy on the hawks soaring overhead, and take a selfie with a mesa.
